Geothermal Food Dehydrator (GFD)

Food drying has been achieved using artisanal drying techniques, however, modern techniques are not environmental-friendly as a consequence of the use of gas and coal. The GFD uses low enthalpy geothermal energy making it a viable alternative for sustainable food dehydration, fighting shortage and waste through food conservation

Due to its geothermal nature, the GFD can operate 24/7, making it a profitable product lowering its environmental footprint. The functionality of this system is based on the fact that air is heated through a heat exchanger, removing humidity from the food.
