Flash Evaporation Binary Cycle iiDEA (FEBC)

One of the main projects developed by iiDEA is the modification of a conventional binary cycle in which a plate heat exchanger, an orifice plate and a cyclone separator replace the system of heat exchanger used in traditional binary cycles. As a consequence of this, the energetic requirements of the cycle are significantly lowered.

The FEBC is also able to take advantage of waste heat, providing the following advantages:
