NEXT STEPS

The Educational Satellite SATEDU was developed with the idea to make it compatible with the CubeSat standard developed in 1999 by Dr. Robert Twiggs from Stanford University, USA. Therefore, our next steps deal with the construction of  Picosatellites and Nanosatellites that will use technology and knowledge acquired in SATEDU project. A couple of these projects are the followings:
From the classroom to the Space with the help of SATEDU.

Subsystems already developed for Mexican Picosatellite, with protections against radiation (Structure, Flight Computer, Power, Stabilization by inertial/reaction wheel and Inertial Navigation sensors)

International Cooperation between the European Union and Mexico to strengthen research initiatives among both regions, FONCICYT project with a Mexican team as project leader.  Mexico-EU research found to promote collaborations.
Participants from the Mexican side: CICESE research center (Ensenada, BC),  UNAM (México, DF), CINVESTAV research center (México, DF), IPN (México, DF) and CENAM (Querétaro).

Participants from the European Union: University of Surrey (UK), Telecom, Paris (France), Universidad de Vigo (Spain) and Aalborg University (Denmark).
